<image:title>Home - Take charge of what you can control.</image:title>
<image:caption>Once you figure out what you like and what you don’t, it’s time to take action. This stage is all about establishing rhythms, simplifying your life and setting boundaries. It’s time to let go of what isn’t serving you to make room for what does. In order to be content, you need to make some space for the good stuff in your life.</image:caption>

      <image:title>Home - It starts with you.</image:title>
<image:caption>Give yourself grace, compassion, and a little love. Remember who you are and what you like to do in and outside of work. Connect with people who feed your soul, in a way that feels comfortable and right for you.</image:caption>

      <image:title>Home - Look to the future.</image:title>
<image:caption>This is the really fun part, it’s time to dream big! Now that you’ve explored what makes you happy, have made space for the things that light you up and, let go of what you can’t control, it’s time to look to the future. Here, we set goals and then reverse engineer the steps to get to your desired outcomes. We conquer limiting beliefs so that you’re relying on your inherent drive instead of discipline (which is a finite resource) to get you where you want to go. It becomes easy, and fun and exciting again to think about what’s to come.</image:caption>

      <image:title>Home - Let go of what you can’t control.</image:title>
<image:caption>There are factual circumstances we can’t control; case outcomes, our clients’ resources, other people’s behaviour. We need to know we gave our best, and then we need to let it go. I know it’s not as simple as telling yourself to leave work at work, you do this job because you have a massive capacity for caring and, you’re always thinking about what you could have done better. So, this is where we dig in and show you how to internalize the truth: you are an amazing and talented person and your patients, clients and colleagues are so lucky to have you! You did your best, and that is enough.</image:caption>

<image:title>About - I’m Jessica, a veterinarian who lost, and then found, the fun, the challenge and the satisfaction in this unique and amazing profession.</image:title>
<image:caption>I truly believe there is no other path or purpose that carries the same potential for joy, achievement, and space to do good as we find in being veterinarians. I mean, come on, we are saving the lives of helpless animals, when nobody else can. Read that again… when nobody else can. You, my colleague, are amazing. But, I also know the heartbreak that comes from wanting to be able to do more, being faced with moral dilemmas and having to make hundreds of decisions a day—even if they’re the same decisions you made the day before… The exhaustion, burnout and compassion fatigue are real. For me, this showed up as impatience, inability to find the energy to keep in touch with the people in my life who matter most, complete decision paralysis and difficulty remembering what makes me happy, at work or outside of work. For a while, I thought this was just the nature of the job, but it doesn’t have to be this way. By looking inward, creating space for the good stuff, letting go and, envisioning a brilliant future, I reignited the spark in my work. I’m quite sure that you can too.</image:caption>
